A rejection of perfectionism and a focus on themes such as sustainability and mental well-being are among the experiences awaiting visitors at Kunsthal Aarhus in 2026. The program features new formats, inspiring collaborations, strong traditions, and brings the art gallery's archives to light.



– In 2026, we will build upon several of the formats and expressions we have explored in recent years. We aim to engage the art gallery in new ways, partly by cross-pollinating visual arts with architecture, where we will also incorporate the park surrounding Kunsthal Aarhus, says Chief Curator Peter Ole Pedersen, Kunsthal Aarhus.
