The graduation exhibition showcases works by the graduating students from Det Jyske Kunstakademi. Hosted at Kunsthal Aarhus since 2004, the exhibition celebrates emerging talents on the Danish contemporary art scene.
Through diverse media and conceptual approaches, the artists explore and reveal often-overlooked structures that shape our relationship with urban spaces, architecture, the body, people and objects around us. By pushing the boundaries between the private and public, the fictional and real, the obvious and subtle, this new generation of visual artists invites us to reflect on the societal structures that shape our lives.
The exhibition captures a sincere observation and investigation of these structures, systems, and dynamics that – directly or indirectly – shape our perception of the world.
Afgang 25 is curated by Tijana Mišković.
The exhibition is supported by:
The Danish Arts Foundation, Augustinus Foundation, 15. juni Fonden, Beckett-Fonden.
