Kunsthal Aarhus is looking for on-call technicians

Are you interested in working with technical aspects of exhibition setup and production?
Now you have the opportunity to join the team at Kunsthal Aarhus.

We are seeking on-call technicians to assist with practical and technical tasks related to the installation and dismantling of exhibitions.

As an on-call technician, you will be part of a dynamic environment where technicians, artists, and curators work closely together to bring new exhibitions to life. Daily tasks may vary and include:
• Installing and dismantling exhibitions
• Handling, hanging, and placing artworks
• Painting, plastering, and carpentry work
• Building walls, podiums, and exhibition furniture
• Preparing and maintaining exhibition spaces
• Managing lighting, sound, and AV equipment
• Transporting and handling materials and artworks
• Cleaning and tidying during setup and dismantling
• Collaborating with artists, curators, and technicians to find practical solutions

We are looking for someone who:
• Is hands-on and able to work independently
• Has technical understanding and preferably experience in exhibition production or similar
• Thrives in a collaborative and flexible work environment

The position is as an on-call substitute, and working hours will vary depending on exhibition activities.
