Mass-produced German milk chocolate, make-up of a very dubious (read: toxic) quality, erotic toys – these are all things you can find in an advent calendar. Yet, Kunsthal Aarhus will give you the only advent calendar you truly need. It is charitable, cultivating, stimulating, inspiring and as a cherry on top; less consumeristic than the advent calendars you are familiar with. In short: Everything your heart should desire.

A fir tree – sorry, Christmas tree – with 24 pieces of winter – sorry, Christmas decorations created by 24 artists.

Every day until December 24 we will reveal a new decoration on our social media for all to enjoy. In the end all the winter… no, Christmas artworks will go on auction at a great Winter Solstice get-to-getter (just our way of saying a Christmas party complete with gluhwein, joy and bonfire) on 18.12.2019 from 4 pm.

Bruun Rasmussen, Auctioneers of Fine Art, will ensure a cheerful auction. All income will go uncut to Hus Forbi (Danish Organisation for Homelessness).
All bids start at 300 DKK
